As you fill out this form there will be several questions that may sound like they have a wrong answer or will negatively impact your application.

There are no answers that will automatically disqualify you from a staff position.

There are certain questions that are weighed more heavily than others, but we look at the application as a whole before we make any final decisions.

Please just be honest, even if you think you are "failing" the application. We at ETM are led by the Spirit of God, and not by our own "wisdom" or prejudices. If God wants you to be on staff, then it will happen, regardless of your answers.

As a Christian organization it is important to us that you are involved with a Biblical teaching church.

We are greatly concerned with your personal beliefs, that they line up with our stated beliefs and therefore do not disqualify you based on the denomination alone.

Living in sin means you are making a conscious choice to continue living in sin. This includes sins that you intentionally and repeatedly commit without repentance. While not living in sin is not a requirement for being on staff (we all stumble and make mistakes) it is highly encouraged.

While no Christian is perfect, we have all sinned and are still in the process of being made perfect in His image, it is still a big deal when a Christian chooses to live in sin.

Living in sin means you make a conscious choice to have a lifestyle that is sinful. This does not mean you are not saved, but it does mean that you are not repentant and you are not following God.

If you are living in a lifestyle of sin we will not automatically disqualify you from being on staff, it is weighed heavily.

All men have sinned, greatly offending God and falling short of His perfect standard. (Romans 3:23)

Our sin nature is inherited from Adam and will continue as long as we are in these fleshly bodies.(Romans 5:12-14) The penalty of sin is death, an eternal separation from God.

Hell is the place where these people are sentenced to spend for all eternity (2 Thessalonian 1:8-9)

Salvation (forgiveness) of our sins comes solely through faith in Jesus Christ, repenting of our sins, and His grace to us, (Ephesians 2:8, Romans 10:9, Acts 3:19, John 3:16, John 14:6) not by any works or anything man can do. (Ephesians 2:9)

All staff members are required to check the staff area of the ETM forums at least twice a week and to participate in any votes or discussions taking place. This requirement is on top of the requirements for the specific position you are applying for.

Description
Editors proof read all articles and pages on ETM before they are published to ensure they are grammatically correct. Because every article must be proofread this job requires constant attention. Expect a new article to edit every other day or so.

* Proof read every article before they are published, making sure there is always an article ready to be published according to the publishing schedule
Description
Forum Moderators maintain order on the community forum, keeping fights from breaking out, and encouraging Biblical discussions on the board. Moderators also have to approve posts on the moderation queue.
Requirements

* Participate in the forum discussions
* Keep conversations civil
* Stimulate and lead Biblical conversations on the forum.
Description
Game Ambassadors help administrate the ETM guilds that we have. They should be actively involved in at least one of the guilds and will take on a lot of responsibility that must be fulfilled outside of the game.
Requirements
* Keep communication between all of the guild officers and the ETM staff. * Come up with ideas to help the guilds. * Keep the guilds focused on Christ (i.e. reminding officers of our primary mission of being a servant of God instead of just leveling characters) * Be active in the game areas of the forum
Description
The webmaster maintains the website and all website software, keeping everything up to date and correcting any glitches found.
Requirements
* Maintain backups of the website and database
* Maintain and add pages to the website as needed
* Keep all software up to date that we have control over

Position currently full. Other areas of ETM are in greater need but you can have Webmaster as a secondary position after being brought on staff.
Description
Writers write the articles that are published on ETM. The articles can be on Biblical topics, media, reviews, or personal blogs.

* Writing Media or personal articles are optional, but encouraged
