The Star of Bethlehem

When you read about the star of Bethlehem in the Bible, what do you think of? Do you think of a really bright star that nobody could possibly miss with a tail as big as a kite? Or do you think it is nothing but poetry, that the events are too unbelievable to be true?

My dad pointed me to this short documentary, The Star of Bethlehem. Fredrick Larson, a Christian lawyer, takes a journey into every detail in the Bible about this miraculous event and compares it against a very accurate model of the sky’s during that time. The results, which encompassing years of research by Larson, are amazing.

Not only does this give us yet another piece of evidence that what the Bible says is true, it will deepen your desire to praise the creator, seeing how God set everything into motion with a purpose, from day 1.
